If you threaten to commit any crime of violence in order to terrorize another person or to evacuate certain areas, or in reckless disregard of causing terror, you are guilty of terroristic threats. Or if you communicate with another person with the intent to terrorize or in reckless disregard of causing terror regarding the location of any explosive or similar device (whether or not the information is true), you are also guilty. The penalty is up to 5 years in prison and/or up to a $10,000 fine. See here.
