“I want you to know how much I deeply and sincerely appreciate the time, efforts, work and compassion you, Elizabeth and Shelly all did and had for me. Each one of you were key parts of the team that helped me. I guess I just want you to know that your talents and wisdom are a blessing, both objectively and in my personal situation. Likewise, Elizabeth’s skills and knowledge in support of you were apparent and likewise greatly appreciated. Both behind and ahead of you and Elizabeth goes Shelly, smoothing, shepherding, deflecting, and redirecting as needed—all while always putting forth a friendly, warm demeanor and upbeat spirit.
I know they both really like you as their boss, and I also know you very much rely on, trust and like them as your staff. But as a former “boss” (first-level supervisor) myself, I know that sometimes we need to stop and make a special effort to recognize our employees for their diligent work. I’m not saying you don’t or haven’t, it’s just been on my heart to remind you.
Ryan, I truly believe you three were a part of God’s grace (giving me something I don’t deserve), mercy (not giving me something I deserve) and discipline (giving me what I deserve) with my case. You are do wonderful, valuable work with skills He has given you. Please acknowledge and remember that.
I will never be fully able to express my gratitude to any of you.”
Thanks and blessings to you,
