The Phillips community is a collection of four neighborhoods; Midtown Phillips, Ventura Village, Phillips West and Phillips East, which are located south of downtown Minneapolis – the largest and most populous city in the State of Minnesota. At the moment, there are new developments that are ongoing commercial and residential developments such as the redevelopment and repurposing of the Sears Building located along Lake Street – all of which continue to increase employment opportunities for local residents.
