Our client was pulled over by law enforcement officers from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office in downtown Minneapolis and then unlawfully seized and searched, which revealed a handgun and, later, cocaine.
Ryan and Elizabeth filed a motion to dismiss based on an illegal search and, after a heated contested omnibus hearing at which Ryan cross-examined three of the four officers who conducted the illegal search and seizure, the Judge found the officers not credible and granted our motion to suppress the firearm and subsequent narcotics in the case.
