After a lengthy federal sentencing hearing, our client, who joined the BLM protests after the murder of George Floyd, was granted probation rather than the presumptive 5-year sentence. Our client was filmed breaking into a school and attempting to light items on fire. We worked with our client during the pending charges, wrote a lengthy sentencing position paper, and the Judge granted the motion to depart to no prison. A complete victory.
